鹧鸪李已有数百年栽培历史,产于江西省于都县段屋乡大屋村鹧鸪坑,因产地得名。全乡现有3000余株,以其果大、核小、味浓而远近闻名。 鹧鸪李树势强旺开张,一般树高6~7米,树冠直径7~8米。根蘖分株苗3~4龄开始结果,嫁接苗2~3龄即可结果。果实6月下旬成熟,单果重平均41克,最高达59克,果皮红艳有光泽,果肉黄色,肉质脆嫩多汁,味浓甜微酸,略具香味,果核小,重约1.5克,可食率达96%,鲜食加工均宜。
