紫色土的结晶氧化铁含量为 1.25—2.01% 占全铁的29~47%,全锰含量为 619—1266ppm。用“着色成份淘汰法”处理几种代表性紫色土后,在除去结晶性氧化铁时,都出现土色突变,研究认为结晶性氧化铁是决定紫色土土色的主要的呈色成分,经X射线衍射谱鉴定,这种氧化铁主要是赤铁矿(α-Fe_2O_3)。另外在除去锰化合物时土色也有明显变化,所以紫色土中所含锰化合物对其土色也有较大影响。对某些紫色土,非晶质氧化铁对土色也有一定作用。
Purple soil crystalline iron oxide content of 1.25-2.01% of total iron 29 to 47%, the total manganese content of 619-1266ppm. After the treatment of several representative purple soils by the “Coloring Ingredients Elimination Act”, when the crystalline iron oxide is removed, soil color mutations appear. It is considered that the crystalline iron oxide is the main coloring component that determines the purple soil color. X-ray diffraction spectrum identification, this iron oxide is mainly hematite (α-Fe_2O_3). In addition to remove the manganese compounds when the soil color also has significant changes, so purple soil manganese compounds contained in its soil color also have a greater impact. For some purple soil, amorphous iron oxide also has some effect on soil color.
