Objective To investigate the effect of early feeding mode on iron deficiency anemia in infants aged 3 to 7 months. Methods A total of 210 infants (3-7 months) from outpatient examination from February 2012 to September 2013 were selected as study subjects. According to the different feeding methods, they were divided into group A (breastfeeding), group B (part Breastfeeding) and group C (artificial feeding), 70 cases in each group. Hemoglobin was detected in three groups of infants. Results The levels of MCV, Hb, MCHC and MCH in infants in group A were significantly lower than those in groups B and C (P <0.05), and the differences were statistically significant. The levels of MCV, Hb, MCHC and MCH in groups C and B were significantly different The incidence of IDA in group A was 21.4%, which was significantly higher than that in group B (11.4%) and group C (7.1%), P <0.05, the difference was statistically significant The lowest incidence of IDA, but compared with the B group, P> 0.05, the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion The demand for iron in the body is different at different stages of infant development. If you can not give enough attention and attention to this issue, it will inevitably seriously affect the normal growth and development of infants. In this study, we found that, at 3 to 7 months, infants can not get enough iron to support their own growth due to the rapid development of their own, and the objective existence of this problem can not be obtained Due attention should be seriously affected the baby’s development. Based on the above situation, after six months, infants should be supplemented with the necessary iron by adding appropriate supplementary food, so as to effectively avoid the occurrence of iron deficiency anemia and provide necessary nutrition support for their healthy growth.
