1934年齐尔品在中国举办的“征求有中国特色钢琴作品”比赛掀起了有中国特色钢琴作品的创作风潮。齐尔品本人在1934年就发现了当时中国所用钢琴教材均为西方的教材,并没有为演奏中国特色钢琴作品作准备的手指练习。于是他通过对中国五声音阶的研究,自己创作了《五声音阶的钢琴教本》。之后,又有许多中国作曲家创作了五声音阶练习曲。本文将对薛维恩的《中国五声音阶钢琴练习曲》的训练项目及练习注意进行分析。
