在福建沙县至上杭、广东兴宁至河源上白垩统采集古地磁学定向样品390个(39个采点),进行了古地磁学研究.研究表明,闽粤两地的晚白垩世古地磁学数据具有良好的重合性,其中,福建:古地磁偏角11.7°,古地磁倾角42.9°,古地磁极位置北纬79.4°,东径210.3°;广东:古地磁偏角10.7°,古地磁倾角44.0°,古地磁极位置北纬80.1°,东径193.4°.该古地磁学数据反映了中国华南地区自晚白垩世至今曾经历过一个大约10°左右的区域性顺时针旋转运动.
390 (39 sites) of paleomagnetic geotropic samples were collected from Shaoxing to Shanghang in Fujian Province and from Xingning to Heyuan Cretaceous in Guangdong Province for paleomagnetic study. The study shows that the Late Cretaceous paleomagnetic data in Fujian and Guangdong have good coincidence. Among them, Fujian: the paleomagnetic declination angle is 11.7 °, the paleomagnetic dip angle is 42.9 °, the paleomagnetic pole position is 79.4 ° N , East of 210.3 °; Guangdong: paleomagnetic declination 10.7 °, paleomagnetism dip 44.0 °, paleomagnetic pole position north latitude 80.1 °, east diameter 193.4 °. This palaeomagnetic data reflects a regional clockwise rotation of about 10 ° in southern China since the Late Cretaceous.
