John Claire carefully depicts nature in order to rebuild the ideal. The vision of Arcadia is part of the tradition of English poetry. Clare’s ideal is to rely on the description of nature in the spiritual world to build a pure paradise of human and natural water blend. The poet observes the discord between mankind and nature: human beings bully nature and naturally bring humanity arduousness. He hoped to resolve this contradiction with aesthetically idealized aesthetics and calmly examine everything in the world. Claire’s “True Ideal” is based on a solid earth, looking up at the sky.
