The purpose of this article is to discuss some of the major evolutions that have recently affected African philosophy. The signs of these evolutions are the decline of the ideals of liberty, liberation and progress in the Bantu era. It follows that the future of Africa will surely become one of the strategic dominators. From this point of view, philosophy and social sciences have an important role to play. There is a consensus that philosophy can serve as a tool of freedom and liberation and as a major factor in social, cultural and political changes. However, new paradigms have emerged with globalization and its cultural logic, the so-called postmodernism / post-colonialism. For example, this situation led some thinkers to explain hermeneutics, interpretations, and theories of language based on the reality of intelligibility and the necessity of changing reality. On the one hand, this shows that some major categories of modernity, such as reason, history, nation, state, liberation, progress, etc., have lost their legitimacy. On the other hand, they have also illustrated new substitutes such as desire, mobility, hybridization Sex, diversity, nationality and other terms have been affirmed. In this paper, the author strives to face up to these recent trends in African philosophy and the emerging trends in the struggles against colonialism and imperialism in Asia, Latin America and Africa earlier.
