上向式气动凿岩机所产生的噪声距凿岩机1米处为114～118分贝(A),严重危及矿工健康。美国矿业局通过重新设计凿岩机结构和对钎杆的消声处理,研制出了一种能降低噪声的凿岩机样机,其噪声强度在距凿岩机1米处只有95分贝(A)。现已有6台在井下试验。
The noise generated by the upward-type pneumatic rock drill is 114-118 dB (A) at a distance of 1 meter from the rock drill, seriously threatening the health of miners. The United States Department of Mines has developed a driller prototype that reduces noise by redesigning the structure of the rock drill and the muffler treatment of the drill rod with a noise intensity of only 95 dB (A) at 1 m from the rock drill. There are already six underground tests.
