November 2015 Statistics from France show that the French apple production in 2015 is expected to be 7% higher than the previous year, reaching 1.63 million t, averaging between 2010 and 2014. The amount of fruiting, fruit size, fruit health and fruit coloring are good, when harvesting the weather is good. Appropriate increase in rain fall in all apple-producing areas in France in 2015 increased apple production. Apple’s export is better than last year. However, due to the successive listing of EU member states Apple, France exports relatively few apples to the EU. Overall, the export price of French apples in 2015 was better than last year. The export prices in September were 24% higher than the same period of last year. Although the prices started to drop in late October, they were still higher than those of 2010-2014
