能对常规软盘工作的第一台高密度的磁盘驱动器预计1991年1月份研制成功,并计划开始装备适量的软性磁盘子系统。它能在3(1/2)英寸的软盘上存储20.8MB信息。但驱动器也能读写720 KB和1.44 MB的软盘。
The first high-density disk drive capable of working with regular floppy disks is expected to have been successfully developed in January 1991 and plans to start out with the right amount of floppy disk subsystems. It can store 20.8MB of information on a 3 (1/2) inch floppy disk. But the drive can also read and write 720 KB and 1.44 MB floppy disks.
