人们对半导体颜料在水的分散体系中的光诱导的电荷转移过程已进行了大量的研究.但对其在低介电常数的溶剂中的研究还不多.光活性颜料电照相体系(Photo activepigment electrophotography,PAPE)正是基于颜料在低介电常数的溶剂中的电荷转移.在PAPE体系中,某些添加物如醇、胶等捕获空穴或空穴产物将对体系中电荷交换起稳定作用.虽然人们一直认为在这些体系中产生的自由基是关键的中间体,但这种假设还需要实验证明.
