Manchu Shimomura, Asahi Shimbun’s editorial board member, was the only female reporter in Japan who won the Bonn-Ueda International Journalist Award. She is longer than an interview with the world as a stage, visited many famous people. Among them are former U.S. President Katrina, future scholar Toffler, “God of Business” Matsushita Koizumi, Hollywood actress Queen of Costa Rica, Grace Kelly. In an interview with Italian female reporter Farach in 1978, faltering Fallach told her the great sorrow she lost her lover and told her about the concept of life and death for two days. Some people say that Faraki’s interview style is “provocative”, while Mancun is “sun-shaped”. She always gives a sense of peace, people in a mild atmosphere open their hearts. I read the article of Shimomura in “International Press.” She described the visit as a drummer, thinking that the sound of a knockout was not good, that she had the least amount of percussive force, that she was wrong in ways and that she could not blame the drummer. This remark left a deep impression on me
