计算机进行文件传输时,文件的内容、长度都是不确定的,格式也不固定;传输文件的媒体(电话系统)也常出现错误,在进行数据传输时,电话线路中很小的干扰声都会引起很大的误差.若误差发生在文件传输中会改变一个数据库文件的内客,使得重要信息变成“垃圾”.为防范这些错误,计算机在进行通信过程中使用“文件传输协议”来检测错误或纠错,直到数据正确无误地到达.本文主要论述普遍使用的计算机远程文件传输协议XMODEM、YMODEM.
