自从霍恩比开创“高阶英语学习词典”以来,迄今已有五部著名的英汉双语学习词典相继问世,这五部词典以使用者为中心,吸收现代语言学研究的最新成果,立足实用,不断创新,为英汉学习词典的编纂树立了典范。本文旨在研究这五部英汉双语学习词典的微观结构,分析各自的优势与不足,探寻近年来国外英语词典编纂的技术发展方向及人文发展趋势,供国内英语词典编纂家们借鉴。
Since Hornby founded the Dictionary of Advanced English Learning, five famous English-Chinese bilingual learning dictionaries have been published so far. These five dictionaries focus on the users and absorb the latest achievements in modern linguistics research. Practical and innovative, set an example for the compilation of English-Chinese learning dictionary. The purpose of this paper is to study the microstructure of these five English-Chinese bilingual dictionaries and to analyze their respective strengths and weaknesses. In this paper, we explore the technological development and humanistic trends in the compilation of foreign English dictionaries in recent years for reference by domestic English lexicographers.
