由国家海洋局与联合国科教文组织政府间海洋学委员会联合举办的太平洋海啸警报系统（ITSU）国际协调组第11届会议和国际风暴潮学术研讨会（ISSS）,分别于1987月9月8日-12日和15日-17日在北京国家海洋局海洋环境预报中心业务大楼学术厅举行。参加两个会议的国家和地区有美国、加拿大、法国、苏联、日本、朝鲜民主主义人民共和国、南朝鲜、新西兰、秘鲁、智利、菲律宾、印度、孟加拉、越南、中国及香港地区等协调组成员国的代表及观察员。 The 11th session of the International Coordinating Group of the Pacific Tsunami Warning System (ITSU) and the International Symposium on Storm Surges (ISSS) jointly organized by the State Oceanic Administration and the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO were held on September 8, 1987 - Held on the 12th and the 15th - 17th in the Academic Hall of Business Building, Marine Environment Prediction Center, Beijing State Oceanic Administration.
