基层医院是指县医院和相当规模的企业职工医院和部队医院,是一个很大的面,是国家医疗组织网承上启下的枢纽。县医院是一个县的最高医疗机构,担负着全县救死扶伤的重要职责,对全县医疗技术发展负有指导发展的责任。外科学作为临床医学的一个分支,是以手术为主要治疗手段的科学。它不是一种简单的操作或技巧,而是在不断研究创新中发展的学科。基层医院外科工作的发展,正是当前研究的重要课题,笔者根据自己的体会,就县医院外科工作的发展问题谈几点粗浅看法。一、基层医院专科发展问题县医院是综合性医院,外科多为综合性外科。随着工农业的发展,交通运输工具的增多,创伤病人日益增多,基层医院外科病种发生了较大变化, Grass-roots hospitals refer to county hospitals and considerable-scale enterprise workers’ hospitals and military hospitals.
