在总结五榀偏心框架结构试验的基础上,指出了这种新型抗震结构具有与纯框架结构相同的延性,但其抗侧刚度,承载能力明显提高,与GBJ11-89变形限值相比较,可充分发挥材料性能,而且其在反复荷载下的耗能性能、塑性性能及强度退化性能均有不同程度的改善。通过对连系梁和偏心支撑框架的分析可知:连系梁及支撑是影响这种结构的主要因素,而且钢筋粘结滑移,P-△效应的不利影响明显的减小,结构不再以形成机构为极限状态的标志。
