CEOs of China’s largest IT companies attend a press meeting during the Second World Internet Conference held in Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province, on December 17.
Convened from December 16-18, the conference displays the latest Internet technologies and products in China and abroad.
About 2,000 representatives of international organizations, enterprises, technology groups, governments, and non-governmental organizations exchanged ideas on Internet governance, cybersecurity, Internet intellectual property rights, sustainable development of the Internet and technological innovation. The conference was initiated with the aim of strengthening interconnectivity between China and the rest of the world.
Chinese President Xi Jinping gave a keynote speech at the opening ceremony to highlight how information technology will shape the nation’s future.
