电影要“雅俗共赏”,这是一个真格的老生常谈的问题。多年来,不仅观众在呼吁,电影界也直喊,可是,做得怎么样呢?大家有目共睹,不满意。而且极不满意！ 大概是因为“雅俗”二字充满了矛盾,如水火不能相容,不好协调的原故,近两年来干脆直呼“娱乐片”。第一个大声疾呼中国要拍“娱乐片”的人,我以为是一位英雄。在中国这个有着几千年讲求“教”的历史、而且曾经一度强调艺术为政治服务的国度里,公开呐喊要拍“娱乐片”是需要勇气的。如果历史倒退十年,不难想象他的命运会如何。如今,观众早就表达过自己的心愿:进电影院是去娱乐的。电影界也为娱乐片闹腾了半天,可是,只听楼梯轰轰响,不见好片下楼来。原因何在?不少报刊发表了探索文章,《大众电影》还进行了专题讨论。我想,既然闹开了,不如干脆索性闹它个“天翻地覆”,不见成果,决不罢休。

The film industry is also entertainment for a long time, but only listen to the roar of the stairs, not good to go downstairs. What is the reason? Many newspapers published exploratory articles, “popular movie” also conducted a thematic discussion. I think, since the alarm is on, it is better to simply make it an “upside down” without result and never give up.
