靠自然干燥的玉米产区,其种子发芽率经常受气候因素影响而降低。生产中遇这种情况,有的采用加大播种量,以弥补发芽率低,达到保全苗的目的,这固然可减少调种的麻烦,但是往往适得其反,不仅浪费了种粮,而且出苗不全,以致造成当年减产。笔者曾对同一制种田收取的种子,入冬前采用不同脱水速度,造成了不同发芽率的种子,分别进行了室内发芽率和田间播种出苗率的对比,结果如下表:
