2012演化语言学国际研讨会将于2012年11月8日—12日在北京举行,本次会议由北京大学主办,目的是弘扬“加强国内外合作,促进多学科之间协作”的精神。以达尔文演化论为基础的演化语言学涉及生物演化和社会演化两个方面,重点关注语言的起源与发展这两个根本问题。演化语言学是一门交叉学科,需要语言学、人类学、生物学、考古学等学科的通力合作。近年来,演化语言学在国际学界取得很多重要的进展,在中国也得到积极的拓展。中国境内语言丰富多彩,在历史上有长期的记载,各语言之间相互影响的局面也比较复杂,对这些语言的演化和发展进行全面深入的研究必然对演化语言学的理论规律有所贡献。
2012 International Symposium on Evolutionary Linguistics will be held in Beijing from November 8 to 12, 2012. This conference is sponsored by Peking University to promote the spirit of “strengthening cooperation at home and abroad and promoting collaboration among disciplines” . Evolutionary linguistics based on Darwinian evolution involves two aspects: biological evolution and social evolution, and focuses on the two fundamental problems of the origin and development of language. Evolutionary linguistics is an interdisciplinary and requires the cooperation of linguistics, anthropology, biology, archeology and other disciplines. In recent years, evolutionary linguistics has made many important progresses in international academic circles and has also been actively expanded in China. The language in China is rich and colorful, has a long history in history, and the interactions among different languages are also quite complicated. A comprehensive and in-depth study on the evolution and development of these languages inevitably contributes to the theoretical laws of evolutionary linguistics.
