This article describes the main achievements of the research on the relationship between Helicobacter pylori and gastric cancer, and reviews the recently completed 4 case-control studies. Helicobacter pylori infection confirmed as a risk factor for gastric cancer etiology, predict its significance in the prevention of gastric cancer and need to be addressed.
