水污染,大气污染,噪声污染和固体废物污染是当代社会的四大污染,而其中的水污染和大气污染更是对人类生存环境破坏巨大。据一份多年前的调查资料显示,我国七大江河水系中,完全没有使用价值的水质已超过40%;全国1/3的城市人口呼吸着严重污染的空气。水和大气污染导致的环境恶化已直接影响我们的生存与发展,防治水和大气污染是环境保护工作的重点。为碧水蓝天构筑防火墙,对容易造成水和大气污染的项目进行环境评价,成为环评工作的重点。
Water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution and solid waste pollution are the four major pollution in the contemporary society, and the water pollution and air pollution in them are even more detrimental to the living environment of mankind. According to a survey data many years ago, the water quality of totally useless value in the seven major river systems in our country has exceeded 40%. One-third of the urban population in the country breathe heavily polluted air. The environmental deterioration caused by water and air pollution has a direct impact on our survival and development. Prevention and control of water and air pollution are the focus of environmental protection work. It is the focus of the EIA work to build a firewall for clear water and blue sky and conduct environmental assessment of projects that easily cause water and air pollution.
