The seven N-substituted benzimidazoles and thiazolidinones studied in this paper are a new class of compounds with high bactericidal activity. In this paper, we use electron impact mass spectrometry to study the compounds listed in the table. On the basis of high-resolution accurate mass measurement and metastable ion determination, we mainly discuss the cleavage of the C-C bond at the 3,4 position of the molecule,
