The beginning of the year, turning a note, it seems a little feeling. Then pick out a few words about Chinese painting, mess up this article. There are three major sections in Chinese painting: Chinese painting before the Song Dynasty, literati painting from the Yuan Dynasty to the present, and modern Chinese paintings after the May 4th Movement. We can not steal the notion of Chinese painting with the concept of literati painting, nor can we use the standard of literati painting as the standard of all Chinese paintings. There are three lines of Chinese painting look: traditional school, Lin Fengmian style, Xu Jiang system. The origins of the three lines are different: the traditional schools such as Huang Binhong and Qi Baishi were rooted in the traditions of non-traditional literati painting (Dong Qichang and the four kings’
