多模态认知诗学是对诸如视觉诗、图文小说等多模态文学语篇的认知诗学研究。通过对视觉诗“40-Love”从视觉模态、听觉模态和言语模态三方面进行认知解读,本文分析了多模态隐喻——“婚姻是场网球赛和中年夫妻关系是场临界点比分的网球赛”——的动态构建过程,并用概念隐喻理论及概念整合理论对其进行了详细阐释。这不但为基于纯语言模态隐喻研究提出的理论提供了支持,也说明多模态文学语篇能使读者将视觉、听觉、言语模态与语篇的主旨相联系,并在各个单模态及整合模态与语篇主旨之间建立隐喻映射关系。
Multimodal cognitive poetics is a study of cognitive poetics of multimodal literary texts such as visual poems and graphic novels.
