Hi, Jim! My name is Qian Yan. I’m thirteen. I’m a student in Grade Six. I want to be your penfriend. I’m beautiful and clever. I want to be an airline hostess. I like to go shopping. My father is a worker. He likes reading. He is often busy. My mother is a housewife, and she likes reading, too.
Let me tell you the weather in my city. Now it’s spring here. It’s warm and often rainy. The trees turn green. And the flowers start to grow. Sometimes it’s windy. I often fly kites. In summer, the days are longer and very hot. I can swim. I like summer, because I have a long holiday. When the leaves start to fall， autumn is coming. I often have a walk in the countryside. In winter, the cold wind starts to blow. It often snows. I can make snowmen and have snowball fights. I like winter best. Do you like winter, too?
