目前,在小城镇商品市场上,存在着多种所有制的商业,各占一定的比重。1986年海门县全县社会商品零售总额中,供销社系统占21%,具有一定的经营优势。主要表现在: 1. 传统信誉优势。供销社创办至今已有30多年的历史,它以买实公平、货真价实、童叟无欺、执行政策为宗旨,在广大群众中享有较高的威信。在当前百家经商、对手林立的新形势下,供销社实行“顾客至上、信誉第一”的方针,更赢得了群众的信赖。海门县包场乡东风村有一位七旬老汉,他家旁边紧挨着一家个体经商户,但这位老汉情愿跑上四五里路到供销社购买需要计量的商品。他说:“到底还是供销社的货色准足。”
