冀承单3号是承德地区农科所选育的极早熟种,在北方冷凉区玉米栽培北缘区种植,生育期100～110天,全生育期积温2200℃左右,随种植区的日平均温度升高全生育期积温可降至1900～2100℃,株高175cm,抗病抗倒、硬粒、黄色、鲜品食用品味极佳、子粒米质好。围场县种子公司经多年实践摸索出一套高产地膜覆盖制种技术,在海拔800m地域制种突破了300kg/亩。
