Recent research shows that vitamins and dietary supplements, often consumed by millions of women, are likely to be unhealthy. Scientists say there is no evidence that these preparations are good for their health, and that actually some of them may also harm their health. A study of nearly 39,000 women found that multiple vitamin supplements, B vitamins, folic acid, and mineral elements such as iron, magnesium and copper increase the risk of premature death.
