Peripheral blood is a pool of potential progenitor cells that can be used for peripheral blood progenitor cell transplantation (PBPCT). Most authors suggest that multiple segregants receive sufficient peripheral blood progenitor cells (PBPCs) for transplantation. The authors attempted to study the use of a single separation to collect sufficient amounts of PBPC for the purpose of reducing costs and workload.
