初中生在日常生活中听到的、看到的、与人交流的都是汉语,即使学了英语,因为平时几乎不说,更谈不上运用。因此初中生也就很难从生活中得到输入英语语言材料的机会。学生在每周有限的英语课当中所学到的听说训练,由于平时很少说英语,课堂上所学的英语句子除了早读外,其他时间也很难运用、复习和巩固。更何况现在大部分学生早读时根本不开口读英语,其原因还是平时缺乏练习,课堂上老师教的课后不能及时在遗忘之前得到巩固,这样的语言环境及所带来的后果严重的影响了学生的听说训练,也限制了学生口语能力的发展。
