In the process of teaching expansion and contraction, we find that some students have no confidence in the correctness of their own expansion and contraction sentences. In response to this situation, we try to use the reciprocal relationship between extended and contracted to test its correct method, works well. Such as: to expand the sentence “Wang Ming clean the classroom.” Students expanded this sentence by saying “I cleanly cleaned both the inside and outside the sixth-grade classroom with Wang Ming,” saying that as long as the words related to the original sentence were added, it would be fine. We guide them to tighten the expanded sentences and tighten them into “I and Wang Ming clean the inside and outside the classroom”. Such sentences have different meanings from the original sentence. By contrast, they can more clearly understand that the expansion of sentences can not be undone
