This year, due to the Asian financial crisis and the devastating floods in China, the growth rate of the electronics industry dropped by 3 percentage points over the same period of last year. The profit margin dropped by 2.3% over the same period of last year. The profit growth was not satisfactory and was in a “cloudy” state.
