由国家科技部、教育部、农业部和国家外专局邀请回国考察研讨的海外华人农业科学家广东考察团一行14人(其中2人为科技部农业发展中心和教育部国际合作司的陪同考察人员)于1999年7月13日至16日对广东进行了为期四天的考察,这次考察活动是根据李岚清副总理“关于请一些留学人员及华裔、华侨农业科学家回国考察和研讨”的指示精神组
A delegation of 14 overseas Chinese agricultural scientists from Guangdong, one of whom was invited by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Agriculture and State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (two of whom were accompanied by the Agricultural Development Center of Ministry of Science and Technology and the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education) Conducted a four-day inspection of Guangdong Province from July 13 to July 16, 1999. The inspection tour was conducted in accordance with the instructions of Deputy Minister Li Lanqing’s “Mentoring Team on Returning Some Overseas Students and Returning Overseas Chinese Scientists to China”
