Teenage crime has become the number one social issue of concern to the public in the United States. The number of violent incidents among adolescents has been increasing year by year, and the number of participating crime cases has been getting smaller and smaller. In order to prevent the further spread of juvenile delinquency, the United States Congress has recently enacted the Crime Law and the Firearms Management Act. At the same time, the state and private organizations have also increased their funding and donation for crime research. In recent years, large state-funded research institutes including the National Youth Investigation and Rochester, Denver and Pittsburgh three adolescent research centers on juvenile delinquency launched a comprehensive follow-up study.
