教学语法首先要定好教学目标。其目标有两方面:一方面是让学生掌握语法知识,另一方面是让学生能应用语法知识提高语言能力。据此论述台湾的教学语法,结论是:第一,初中的教学语法的目标订得恰当,高中的教学语法的目标却有偏差。另外,教材与目标并不配合。第二,台湾能在学生适当的心智年龄阶段引进语法教学,学生因而可以适时地掌握语法知识。第三,在协助学生应用语法知识来提高语言能力方面,台湾的教学语法未能考虑到语法项目的使用频率。还有,语法练习偏重语法知识的记诵,而针对语言运用能力的语法练习则独付阙如。
Teaching grammar must first set a good teaching goal. Its goal is twofold: on the one hand, students should master grammar knowledge; on the other hand, students should be able to apply grammar knowledge to improve their language skills. Based on this, the thesis discusses the teaching grammar in Taiwan and concludes that: First, the aims of junior high school teaching grammar are properly set, and the goals of high school teaching grammar are biased. In addition, the textbooks and goals do not match. Second, Taiwan can introduce grammar teaching at the appropriate mental age of students so that students can acquire grammatical knowledge in a timely manner. Third, Taiwan’s teaching grammar fails to take into account the frequency of grammar projects in assisting students to apply grammatical knowledge to improve their language skills. Also, grammatical exercises tend to memorize grammatical knowledge, while grammar exercises that focus on the ability to use the language pay for nothing.
