卫生事业是保障人的生命健康权的必要条件。多年来,中国政府在医疗卫生和预防保健方面作出了积极的努力,在提高国民健康素质方面取得了显著成就。特别是在最近抗击非典战役中,中国政府将保障人民身体健康和生命安全放在首位,投入大量的人力物力,取得了阶段性的重大胜利。为了介绍中国政府在医疗卫生和预防保健方面所做的努力和贡献,我们就中国在卫生领域维护和促进人权的有关问题采访了卫生部党组书记、常务副部长高强同志。
Health care is a necessary condition for safeguarding people’s right to life and health. Over the years, the Chinese government has made active efforts in health care and preventive health care, and has made remarkable achievements in improving the quality of national health. Especially in the recent battle against SARS, the Chinese government has placed the protection of people’s health and life safety at the top of the list, invested a lot of manpower and material resources, and achieved major victories in phases. In order to introduce the Chinese government’s efforts and contributions in health care and preventive health care, we interviewed Comrade Gao Qiang, secretary of the Party group and deputy director of the Ministry of Health, on China’s protection and promotion of human rights issues in the health field.
