MG150链牵引滚筒采煤机是MG150系列采煤机机种之一。于1989年10月在大屯煤电公司姚桥矿7153工作面对该采煤机进行了工业性试验。试验期间最高日产2290t,最高月产50732t,园满完成了工业性试验任务。在姚桥矿工业性试验成功的基础上,该机于1990年3月,在不更换任何其它配套设备的前提下,又使用于徐庄矿7211工作面,替代了MD-150采煤机。该工作面长154m,走向长度830m,中硬煤层,煤层倾角16°~22°,平均18°,采高2.5m,直接顶为0.73m厚的泥岩,底板为4.6m厚的细砂岩。回采期间出现过两条断层,一条最大落差2.5m,一条落差1.5m。断层区域顶板破碎,倾角增大,矸石硬度大,给工作面的顶板和设备管理带来很大困难。配套设备为QY240—0.96/26型液压支架,SGW-630/180G型刮板输
