This article systematically summarizes the laboratory nearly three years on atrial natriuretic peptide and pulmonary edema research work. Application of immunohistochemistry, radioimmunoassay, liquid chromatography and molecular hybridization technology to prove that the lung can produce and secrete atrial natriuretic peptide.
