著名经济学家杨敬年是天津南开大学国际经济贸易系的教授。1932年,他考入中央政治学校大学部行政系,毕业后又考入南开大学经济研究所。1945年,他考入英国牛津大学“政治学哲学经济学”专业,三年后获哲学博士学位。1948年10月,杨敬年满怀报国之志回到祖国,在南开大学任教,其传略曾被英国剑桥国际传记中心收入《大洋洲及远东地区名人录》。
Yang Jingnian, a famous economist, is a professor at the Department of International Economics and Trade of Nankai University in Tianjin. In 1932, he was admitted to the Department of political science Central University Department of Administration, after graduating from the Nankai University Economic Research Institute. In 1945, he was admitted to the University of Oxford “Philosophy of Political Science Economics” professional, three years later received a Ph.D. In October 1948, Yang Jingnian returned to his motherland full of the will to serve the country and taught at Nankai University. His biography was quoted by “Who’s Who in Oceania and the Far East” by Cambridge International Biographical Center.
