认知隐喻理论认为,隐喻不仅是一种语言现象,它更重要的是一种人类的认知现象,是人类谈论和思维抽象概念的认知工具。宋词中有不少新颖离奇的咏愁隐喻,从语言的逻辑关系看似乎不合情理,然而运用现代认知隐喻理论分析其中的思维与认知过程,不难发现这些隐喻表达有其概念合成的认知理据,其认知基础是我们的认知系统中不同概念域之间特征的相似性心理联想。
Cognitive metaphor theory holds that metaphor is not only a linguistic phenomenon, but more importantly, it is a kind of cognitive phenomenon of mankind and a cognitive tool of human talk and thinking abstract concepts. There are quite a few novel bizarre chanting metaphors in the Song Ci, which seem to be unconscionable from the logic of the language. However, using the modern cognitive metaphor theory to analyze the process of thinking and cognition, it is not difficult to find that these metaphors express their concept synthesis According to the theory of reason, the cognitive basis is the similar psychological association between the different concept domains in our cognitive system.
