江苏省昆山市昆山经济技术开发区实验小学,以“笃行、求真”为校风,全体教职员工全力打造心目中的“快乐开小”。在“快乐开小”的旗帜下,学校特色项目多点开花。手球是学校最具特色的项目。曾在2014年、2016年分别前往克罗地亚和意大利进行交流比赛,并取得优异成绩。学校的语文教育在昆山市小学语文教育界独树一帜。为了发挥名校的辐射作用,2016年学校与昆山市教育局合作,开办了“市校合作”教研语文骨干教师培训班。
