Under the background of vigorously promoting quality education, Chinese language teaching in senior high schools has become the forefront of quality education because of its unique humanity. However, Chinese language teaching in senior high schools has long focused on examination-oriented education. It pursues students’ academic achievements blindly and neglects the cultivation of students’ intrinsic factors such as emotion and psychology. As a result, some students’ outlook on life and values are biased. Therefore, Chinese language teaching in senior high schools should lay stress on humanity, absorb nutrition from splendid Chinese culture, improve the artistry of Chinese teaching and cultivate the deep character of Chinese teaching, that is, strengthen the students’ emotional education in daily teaching.
