地理活动课程是学生从自然或社会环境中选择与确定研究课题,以类似科学研究的方式主动获取知识、应用知识、解决问题的一种以自主研究性学习为中心的社会实践活动．它能发挥学生的主体作用,引发学生的学习兴趣,调动学生的潜能,培养学生的创新意识．创新精神和实践能力,提高学生的综合素质,因而在培养学生创新能力中具有独特的作用．
Geographic activity course is a kind of social practice activity centered on self-directed learning, in which students choose and determine research topics from natural or social environment and take initiative to acquire knowledge, apply knowledge and solve problems in the similar scientific research. It can play the main role of students, trigger students interest in learning, mobilize the potential of students and cultivate students’ sense of innovation. Innovative spirit and practical ability to improve the overall quality of students, and thus have a unique role in cultivating students’ innovative ability.
