马尾松毛虫是我国南方马尾松林的一大主要害虫,目前,用白僵菌防治松毛虫是主要防治手段。当前主要采用三级发酵培养法生产白僵菌。我区目前年产白僵菌粉70—80万斤。由于白僵菌原粉体积大,不易干燥,含水量10—15％,故有效保存期一般不超过半年,如不及时使用就会造成浪费,而在生产实际上,目前既无法准确测报虫灾发生面积,又不能不生产足够数
