From July 24 to July 28, 2004, the “Academic Symposium on Knowledge Innovation and Knowledge Evaluation of Chinese Academic Journals” was held in Urumqi. A total of 205 representatives from periodical editorial offices in 25 provinces and cities attended the conference. Mr. Wan Jin, an ezine of China Academic Journal (CD), made an important report at the conference.
