Podocin是一种新发现的肾小球足细胞跨膜蛋白 ,定位于足突裂孔隔膜 (SD)插入足突膜的部位。Podocin属于stomatin蛋白家族 ,可能具有离子通道、信号转导功能 ,在足细胞形态形成和SD结构组织与功能调节中发挥重要作用。
Podocin is a newly discovered glomerular podocyte transmembrane protein localized to the site of footpad insertion (SD) into the foot process. Podocin belongs to the stomatin family of proteins and may have ion channel and signal transduction functions. Podocin plays an important role in podocyte morphogenesis and SD tissue structure and function regulation.
