Liver cancer is the most common and the most fatal case of cancer in Asia, Africa and the Pacific. A considerable number of cases are related to viral hepatitis. China and other countries all over the world are studying this extensively, and Japan’s research in this area is more in-depth. Here is a brief introduction to the main achievements of Japanese scholars. It is a theory that hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is associated with hepatitis, especially hepatitis B (HB). Nishioka first proposed based on clinical epidemiological data HCC may be associated with HBsAg. Kosaka first pointed out that HCC and viral hepatitis (VH) are closely related. It is well known that the frequent occurrence of liver cancer is widespread in areas where hepatitis B virus (HBV) is continuously carried. Sensitive with IAHA.R-PHA or RIA
