In this paper, the synthesis and electrorheological properties of a novel organic semiconductor exhibiting a reasonable electrorheological effect were discussed. The improved rotational viscometer was used to test the relationship between the yield stress and the current density that characterize the ER properties with the change of electric field strength. The results show that the new organic semiconductor particles can be composed of high ER fluid ER fluid
